I was thinking what kind of investment DN could do.

1. Buying a camcorder
All consumer models has NO MIC INPUT!!
I wasn't expecting the situation to be that bad. Then, there's virtually no difference between buying a movie-capable point and shoot digital still camera and buying a cheep camcorder.

2. That's all.

Then, coming back to my topic. Who knows about taking still pictures with prosumer HD camcorders? I searched through the Internet but no one was talking about how to photoshop the pic considering HD picture quality, how to set up a camcorder and so on...

Yeah, it's pretty new field so that's something I should figure out by myself.

I need money!!

have you checked out the sony hdr-hc1 kinda cheap as far as HD and has mic inputs. There is a simple tutoriall about HD frame grabs heree, good luck and if you have ?'s just ask, we do it everyday......

Thanks for the link, it is really helpful and made me buy one pretty soon.

So, looks like there's no specific retouching on Photoshop just because it's a frame from HD.
